As always the Everglades was beautiful. Pics don’t do it justice. Year after year this tree stands guard at the entrance to Indian Key Birds usually congregate in droves on this small beach. B And so she sets to Mickey’s song.

The only sail repair is closed here in Marathon until the 29th but we did find a sail repairman that works out of the city marina and lives on the boat next to us. Heck, he is from Texas so he has got to be good. He will have it fixed today or tomorrow.
The wind was totally against us all the way from Port Charlotte to Marathon. We were able to sail a few hours in the afternoon from Pelican Bay to Doctor’s Pass and again the next day after making the turn around Cape Romano shoals heading for Indian Key.
